For secure fixing to a weaker wall
The surface area of the wall flanges of the Handicare Ergogrip grab rails, backrests, Washbasin rail and various bathroom accessories ensures that the load is well distributed and, most of the time, secure wall mounting can be achieved using a suitable Wall mounting set, which is available as an accessory.
When there are concerns about the strenght of the wall, wall mounted products of Handicare can be securely fixed from the back of the wall using special backing plates, which are available as accessories, and existing fixing points. The backing plates are visible from the back side of the wall.
The Backing plate round of Handicare is supplied as a complete set for one flange. Two sets are required for two flanges, three sets for three flanges, etc. No separate fixings are required.
